We are seeking an Interim Pastor to guide our church through a period of transition and prepare us for our next chapter of ministry. Our church has been located in the Gibson-Landsdale neighbourhood of Hamilton since 1890. We are a growing international church seeking an Interim Pastor to lead us as we navigate a short-term physical relocation and look forward to the new opportunities that God has in store for us.

Wentworth has an active membership, and we have been intentional about forming ministry partnerships for greater kingdom impact—both locally and globally:

  • Our building is now owned by Indwell Community Homes, a Christian charity that creates affordable housing communities that support people seeking health, wellness and belonging. Now we are in partnership with them, waiting for a renovation to our main building that will provide us with a refreshed ministry space. We will be welcoming 50 individuals to new apartments that will be built beside this building.
  • On Tuesday evenings, a community meal is served from our church in partnership with Lift Church and their “Serve our City” ministry.
  • We are partners in a network of congregations called TrueCity Hamilton.
  • We have built pastoral and missions relationships with the other CBOQ churches in the Niagara Hamilton Association. Pastors meet monthly for lunch in the Hamilton area, and we are partnering with Mount Hamilton Baptist and Little Bethel Baptist for a missions project in Guatemala through our denominational missions organization CBM.
  • We have close relationships with the Greater Ontario House of Prayer (GOHOP), having shared ministry space with them until recently.
