Hello Church!

As per the Ontario government’s reopening guidelines, churches are allowed to hold services indoors with attendance only limited by ensuring enough space for everyone to maintain the 2-meter physical distancing that we’re all now accustomed to. For our building, this will mean an indoor capacity of ~50% normal capacity.

With this in mind, we will be planning to begin gathering again on Sundays at 10:15 am. These morning worship gatherings will be modified through the summer to be simplified and laidback, with a focus on opportunities to fellowship in a physically distanced manner. They will also essentially be watch parties of the online service during the summer months.

  • In-person Pre-registration is still required, which will help if contact tracing were required by Hamilton Public Health.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available outdoors and in the building for your use.
  • Washrooms will be available for use.
  • Face coverings continue to be mandatory indoors, as per Hamilton bylaw's #20-155 and #20-202
    • We understand rules about face coverings are increasingly divise, especially as we move into the later stages of reopening. I would like to remind faithful Christians that you are to be mindful of others and choose the law of love when discerning whether to wear masks or not. As Paul said, “let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.” – Romans 14:13–14.

It is important to note that we will continue to have Sunday morning services online at 10:15 am, which will eventually transition to being a livestream in the fall. All of our services will continue to challenge us to put our Faith, Hope, and Love into practice, while being in person allows us to begin living out these values in community. If you miss any of the Sunday morning casts, you can watch them anytime on youtube, listen on our website, or via our iTunes podcast.

Grace and Peace
